Vincent J. "Butch" Bauer, 78, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 8, 2024 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary Bauer to whom he was married to for 50 years before her passing. Born in Allentown, Vincent was a son of the late Vincent Sr. and Elizabeth Bauer (Kirchner).
Vincent proudly served our country in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he became the owner/operator of Vince Bauer Fiberglass Repair. Additionally, he worked as a delivery person for Jetson Tire in Hellertown and Galaxy Tire in Allentown, as well as a shipping counter representative and estimator for Bethlehem Plumbing Supply. He was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church - Moore Twp.
He will be dearly missed by his daughter: Tammy McCauley and husband James of Bethlehem; grandchildren: Eric (Sarah), Brandon (Alissa) & Ashley; great-grandchildren: Noah, Logan, Benjamin, Macey, Mackenzie and Madelyn; sister: Mary Ann Schwoyer; companion: Lora Druckenmiller of Bethlehem; many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held privately. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at: bensingfuneralhome.net. Arrangements and cremation care are under the direction of the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, INC. - Moorestown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered to the Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors Inc. 1013 Mumma Road. Suite 203, Wormleysburg, PA 17043.
