Viola Raub

Viola Raub, 85, of Forks Township, PA passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at St. Luke's University Hospital, with her loving family by her side. Viola was born, at home, on Lock Street in Phillipsburg, NJ on December 8, 1939 to the late John J Fohr Sr. and Theresa Vargo Fohr. Viola was a graduate of Belvidere High School-Class of 1958. Earlier in life, she had worked for American National Can Co. of Washington, NJ. Viola devoted the rest of her life to her husband, three boys and their growing families. She loved going to Seaside Heights with her family and to the Casino with her husband and sister. Most importantly, Viola adored her children and grandchildren. Viola is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Anderson C. Raub; Sons, Anderson C. Raub II and his wife Amanda Frederick, Jason D. Raub and his wife Lea, and Jeffrey P. Raub I. and his wife Kathryn; Grandchildren, Olivia Raub and her husband Michael Soules, Emma Raub, Patrick Csiszlak, Jeffrey P. Raub II., Calvin W. Raub and Elizabeth V. Raub; 7 Grand-dogs, Elwood, Lucy, Blaze, Mabel, Ginger, Hazel and Punkin; Two Sisters, Diana LoPresti and Esther (William) Shepherd; Brother, John J Fohr, Jr.; numerous nieces and nephews. Viola was predeceased by Brothers, Lewis E. Fohr and Donald Fohr and Sisters, Theresa Spence and Margaret Woolf. A Visitation for the Family and Friends of Viola will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Rupell Funeral Home, LLC; 465 Memorial Pkwy; Phillipsburg, NJ 08865 and on Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 10:00am to 11:00am at St. James Lutheran Church; 1213 US-22; Phillipsburg, NJ 08865. A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, March 8, 20205 at 11:00 am at St James Lutheran Church. Interment will be in St. James Lutheran Cemetery.
