Walter H. Sittler Jr

Walter H. Sittler, Jr., 96, of Allentown passed away Thursday, August 14, 2025 in his home. He was the loving husband of Gabriele (Fischl) Sittler with whom he shared 60 years of marriage until her passing in 2019. Born in Allentown, Walter was the son of the late Walter H. Sr. and Lillian (Kuntz) Sittler. Walter worked for many years at General Electric in electroplating and later as a supervisor. Walter proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Allentown. Walter was an avid bowler, enjoyed golfing and skiing. Walter is survived by his son John, husband of Diana; three grandchildren Andrew, Edward and Cristy Beck, husband of Brandon ; a great-granddaughter Scarlett and great- grandson Carson. Walter was preceded in death by his brother Filbert Sittler and sisters M. Rachel Hartman and Imogene Schaeffer. Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
