Wesley Parker Kozinn MD

Wesley Parker Kozinn, 78, of South Whitehall Township, passed away in his home on Saturday, July 26, 2025. He began his 40 year career in 1978 as the first Infectious Disease Specialist at Easton Hospital and was known by colleagues, residents, students, patients and friends as a truly compassionate and caring physician whose gentle demeanor and unwavering dedication set a standard of excellence in medicine and his life. Wesley was born in Brooklyn, New York on November 11,1946 and grew up in Woodmere, NY. He was the son of Mildred and Murray Kozinn. He graduated from Woodmere Academy, Brown University and The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine where he graduated first in his medical class. Wesley did his residency in Internal Medicine at Mt. Sinai Hospital in NYC and a Fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Montefiore Hospital. He always placed patients' needs first, offering medical expertise with comfort, empathy and a humble bedside manner. In his free time he was a real renaissance man as a photographer and lover of classical music. He enjoyed nature and took every opportunity to enjoy the beauty in the Lehigh Valley and on his travels. Wes was a wonderful husband to Beth (Binderman) Kozinn for 50 years and loving father to Benjamin, Spencer and Rachel (Brill). He is survived by his seven grandsons, Jack and Dean Kozinn, Wylie, Max and Owen Kozinn and Joseph and Alex Brill; daughter-in-law Julie Kozinn and son-in-law Jonathan Brill; sister Nancy Falchuk and his Brother Andrew Kozinn. Wesley was a loving, talented and nurturing human being and a man of integrity who always had a smile on his face and stories that made one laugh. He shall be sorely missed by his family and friends but is finally at peace. Services were held.
