William Campbell Obituary

William E. "Bill" Campbell, Jr., 78, of Pennsburg, formerly of Oreland, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at Pennsburg Manor, where he had been a resident for the past four years. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late William and Ruth Campbell. Bill graduated from Springfield High School (Montgomery County) and Philadelphia Textile University. Bill enjoyed bowling and darts and took part in many leagues over the years. He was a devoted Philadelphia sports fan, especially the EAGLES, Phillies, and Flyers. While living at Pennsburg Manor, he especially loved playing bingo, where he earned the nickname "Bingo Bill." He was also an avid Fantasy Football player and a long-time commissioner of The Bragging Rights League. He is survived by his brother, Brad Campbell, and his wife, Ann; his sister, Kathryn Steward, and her husband, Richard; as well as several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 11, at Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, PA 18969, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will be private at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
