William J. Murphy

William J. Murphy III, 67, of Analomink, passed away suddenly early Tuesday morning, August 5, 2025, at home. He was the husband of Vanessa (Besecker) Murphy with whom he shared 27 years of marriage. Born on December 12, 1957 in Jersey City, NJ, he was a son of the late William and Frances (Clarke) Murphy. Bill was a self-employed painter. He attended the Analomink United Methodist Church and was a member of BNI (Business Network International). In addition to his wife, surviving are a daughter, Morgan Murphy of Phoenixville; two sisters, Helen Shasa-Rotile and her husband Brian Rotile of Rockaway, NJ and Carleen Kruty and her husband John of Edison, NJ; a brother, John Murphy of Sparta, NJ; and nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Saturday, August 9th, at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg with viewing beginning at 11:00AM followed by the funeral service at noon with Pastor Dorothy Stem officiating. Burial will follow at Prospect Cemetery in East Stroudsburg. The family requests that memorial remembrances be made to the Analomink United Methodist Church or American Heart Association.
