I like Christine worked at Travelers first when I met Allan during the laboratory build in Windsor CT and as the MAN with the charcoal strips for forensic analysis of fire debris.
He was always kind and very knowledgeable and I enjoyed all interactions with Allan as he always made you feel like a friend with his warm smile and dry sarcasm.
I recently was reacquainted with Allan with my latest employer and he helped us build our our new laboratory with new ventilation hoods and like the gentlemen he was, Allan offered a trip to a local chemical manufacturer to view the hoods we were thinking about to see them in action.
I am very saddened that he will not be enjoying his recent plans for NH and fishing but I pray that his rod is cast in heaven!
My deepest condolences to Allan's family!

I am so sorry to hear of Allan's passing. I have known Allan all my working life as I met him years ago when he did the lab renovation of Environmental Science in Middletown. We reconnected when he worked on the lab renovation at Travelers in 1996. He had been a presence here at Travelers as we continued to work with him on his Fire Debris analysis test strips. He always had a smile on his face. Allan, I will miss you...
