Annette Bartos Obituary

Annette Bartos, age 72, of Connecticut, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, quiet strength, and generosity. Born in New Britain, CT, Annette was the cherished daughter of the late Sonya and Stanley Bartos. She dedicated her professional life to public service, retiring from the State of Connecticut after many years of commitment and hard work. Even in retirement, Annette continued to give back to her community through volunteer work at the Bristol Senior Center, where her caring spirit and warm heart made a lasting impact. Most importantly, she was a beloved sister, aunt, and friend. Annette is survived by her loving brother, David Bartos, and his wife, Phyllis. She was a devoted aunt to Brian (Stephanie), Kevin (Allison), and Megan (Kevin), and a proud great-aunt to Mason. She also held a special place in her heart for her dear cousins Mike, Tanya, and Paul. Annette was blessed with many cherished friendships, especially her close friend Nancy, with whom she shared a deep and enduring bond. Her loyalty, compassion, and gentle humor touched the lives of all who knew her. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the incredible staff at LiveWell for the extraordinary care, dignity, and compassion they provided to Annette in her final chapter. Their kindness will never be forgotten. She will be remembered always for her generous heart, her devotion to loved ones, and the quiet strength that defined her life. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Annette's family on Tuesday, July 15th, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, 305 Washington St., New Britain, CT 06051. My condolences to Annette's family. I worked with Annette for many years. She was a kind and helpful coworker. She had gentle voice and never seemed to get upset.

We enjoyed many years of pierogis from the Church's fundraiser. We still remember them and miss them.

I think of Annette every year when I decorate our Christmas tree with a beautiful angel ornament (Girl Scout Troup, if i remember correctly.)

She will be missed.

Stephanie
