Audrey Hawthorne Obituary

Audrey Swanson Hawthorne of Branford, died on Friday September 5, 2025 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford. She was the wife of the late Donald C. Hawthorne. Audrey was born in New Haven on January 20, 1926, a daughter of the late Herman and Evaline Sanger Swanson. She is survived by her children, Deborah Anderson of Madison, Donna (George) Giancopolos of Branford, Jeffrey Hawthorne of Northford and Judy (Joseph) Boyko of Shelton, CT, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother William Swanson and sister Nancy Schroff. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of her family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405.
