Barbara Oblon-Lubusko

Barbara Oblon-Lubusko, 69, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, with her longtime companion by her side in Middlefield. Born in Meriden, CT on April 25, 1956, she was the daughter of the late John "Dick" Oblon and Ann Oblon. She had attended St. Stanislaus, Jefferson Jr. High, and graduated from Maloney High School. Barb, "BAMO" as she would say, was loved and respected by many. She loved her family and friends and of course her Dallas Cowboys. She will truly be missed. She is survived by her nephews, Jason Scott Oblon and his wife Marinella Mangiafico-Oblon, James John Woronick and his son Justin and her niece Ashley Pastor and her sons, Logan and Odinn. She also leaves behind her long-time companion, Fred Schaefer. She was predeceased by her husband George Lubusko, her brother A. Scott Oblon and her sister, Cynthia Cox. Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Monday, September 15, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 E. Main St., Meriden, CT 06450. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
