Betty Lucile Monbleau

Betty L. Monbleau, 94, of Kingsland Ave., passed peacefully on August 7, 2025 at her home surrounded by loved ones. She was the wife of the late Joseph Jekubovich, Alfred Anderson, and Paul Hamelin. Betty was born in Yonkers, NY, November 9, 1930, a daughter of the late George and Olive Jones Monbleau. Until her retirement, she was a bookkeeper for Northeast Utilities (now known as Eversource), as well as for Attorney Robert Regan. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Wallingford and had served as secretary for the Wallingford Chapter of A.A.R.P. Betty was also a former member of the Nutmeg Winnies and an active member of the Wallingford Senior Center. Betty is survived by her children: Robert (Sandra) Jekubovich of Meriden, Nan Jekubovich of Chapel Hill, NC and Wayne (Marlene) Jekubovich of Edgewater, FL. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Friends and relatives may attend a public visitation at B.C. Bailey Funeral Home on Thursday, August 14, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A Funeral Service will then be held at 12:00 PM, followed by interment at Center Street Cemetery in Wallingford.
