David Perron Obituary

David B. Perron, 48, died Wednesday at his home. He was born in Holyoke, son of Bruce and Dianne Perron, grew up in Granby and graduated from Pathfinder High School. David was a young boy that grew up to be a real Gentleman, I once took David and Christopher for a walk on some nearby railroad tracks when they were both little kids, a short time later they walked up to their dad, my cousin Bruce with their pockets filled with old railroad spikes, the look on his face lol, I will always remember that. Wished I could have spent more time with David. Just a great loss..

Perron Family I am so sorry for your loss. David had such a wonderful personality that was contagious. My family enjoyed seeing him at the restaurant and listening to him sing as he cooked. I hope you find comfort in the memories you shared. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Many of my memories of David are from before The Roost opened, but the best are from seeing him there. We came in and our guide dog was under the table, and he came over and said "if anyone asks, that's a guide dog". We pulled out our paperwork from the Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation and said "If anyone asks, it really is" When I was there for breakfast, I would ask for burned sausage and every time I would send it back for additional cooking. One day, it came out from the kitchen, the way I like it, the first time. David came out later and asked how I liked my sausage. When I started into saying it was perfect and exactly right, David started laughing. He had put the sausage into the microwave when our ticket came back. It was still cooking in the microwave right up until everything else was ready. As he was telling this story, he had the twinkle in his eye that he is well known for.

Sending Love, Hugs and Prayers. I’m still in shock, he was a beautiful soul and just hearing his name would put a smile on my face, and fill my heart with joy. I still remember the squirrel he rescued and raised. Heaven has gained a beautiful Angel.
