Frank Trentini Obituary

Frank Trentini, Jr. of North Haven passed away peacefully September 11, 2025 in Connecticut Hospice. Born in New Haven on June 22, 1954 son of the late Frank and Margaret DeCapua Trentini, Frank was a graduate of the University of Bridgeport. He enjoyed a long and successful career in the insurance industry, beginning as an agent with Prudential Insurance before becoming the principal and owner of Beacon Insurance Group. Frank's clients became personal and longtime friends. He also coached East Haven Youth Hockey, leading his midget team to win the Division 2 CHC State Championship. Frank held a special place in his heart for his players. He is the brother of Catherine Trentini and Connie (Richard) Brassil. Uncle of Tara Miller and Dana (Brassil) Begin. Great uncle of Luke, Josh, Julianna and JP. Great-great uncle of Andrew. Frank is also survived by many cousins and special friends who he considered family. The family would like to thank the nurses on St. Raphael Hospital's ICU West for their wonderful care. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday morning from 8:30-10:30 in the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc. 11 Wooster Place in New Haven. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Blessed Michael McGivney parish at St. Michael Church at 11:00. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
