Gerald Jerome Dickens

Gerald Jerome Dickens, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at the age of 51. Jerome was the beloved son of Beverly Dickens and the late Gerald Dickens, and a devoted brother to Clifton Roberts (Lisa) and Shanda Dickens. He was a proud and loving father to his sons Juwan, Jayden, and Jayviaun, and a caring stepfather to DaJawn. His children were the center of his life and his greatest source of pride. Jerome had a heart as big as his laugh-quiet and serious by nature, but with a wit that could light up a room. His one-liners were legendary, and if you were lucky enough to hear one of his deep, rolling laughs, you wouldn't forget it. A true tinkerer at heart, Jerome loved fishing, rebuilding electronics, and had a passion for building and racing RC cars. He found joy in the little things and always found ways to share that joy with others. Whether it was through a joke, a helping hand, or simply being present, Jerome gave of himself generously. He believed deeply in reaching out to those in need and never hesitated to offer support-whether to a friend, a neighbor, or a stranger. That spirit of compassion and service touched everyone who knew him. Jerome was a long-time employee of Manchester Community College, where he worked alongside his brother and father. Which led to blazing a path to higher education for his children. He also leaves behind a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends, all of whom will cherish his memory. Jerome will be remembered for his infectious humor, generous heart, and the deep love he had for his family and community. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and care. Memorial service will be held at Carmon Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor on Thursday Oct 9th , 2025, at 11 am.
