Glester Donovan Stephens

Glester Donovan Stephens, affectionately called "Toney" or "Baalie" by family and friends, was born in Milk River on October 2, 1954, to parents Hazel and Lewis (McPherson) Stephens. He attended Milk River All Age and Vere Technical High School. After high school, he attended Mico Teachers' College in Jamaica and taught at Christiana Secondary, Denbeigh Secondary, and Vere Technical High School during his years as an Industrial Arts Teacher. Glester also worked for the Alcoa Bauxite Company in Hayes, Clarendon, before migrating to the United States in 1983. Glester was married to the love of his life, Patsy Stewart, in 1980. They were married for 45 years. Glester was loving, kind, caring, and supportive of his family and friends. Always willing to lend a helping hand. Toney leaves behind his wife, Patsy; son, Xavier, four grandchildren; four sisters: Launa, Maisie, Claudia, Joy; and one brother, Horace. He also leaves his uncles and aunts in Canada, as well as his grandmother, Kathrine. He was predeceased by his parents, Hazel and Lewis (McPherson) Stephens.
