I remember that Harvey used to keep our mutual friend Maureen Murray laughing during the days she wasn´t feeling well. I hope he is making Maureen laugh in heaven. May he rest in peace . I also remember when the Albert family lived on Fountain Ave . May he rest in peace.

I am absolutely crushed to hear of Harvey's passing.

We met at A&A Office Systems, when I was the ripe old age of 19. As soon as he cracked his first self-deprecating joke, I immediately knew I met someone special. We stayed in touch these last twenty years, up until our last conversation in June. I will miss those messages from him. He had a way with words and wit that lifted even the most melancholy of spirits.

Some of my fondest memories of him were his yearly epic tomato's, him sharing his "baby picture", calling McDonalds the "Scottish Place", his laugh, and his unending love for his family. He was so, so proud of his grandsons.

Even when I had a cancer diagnosis in 2023 he made sure to check in with me and get updates on my health, even when his and Pat's were ailing. He just cared about people. If everyone had a slivers worth of his compassion, this world would be so much better for it.

I will always cherish having the honor to have know Harvey. To his family, may your memories always be a balm for the pain of losing such a great man.

Sadie and Dewey were my favorite aunt and uncle. Sadie was my father´s sister. Their daughter Judy babysat for us. But Harvey was my favorite cousin. I danced with him at my wedding. So witty like his mom, full of life and a great story teller. The world has lost a great man.

Harvey will remain in the hearts and minds of every single person who knew him. We grew up together and very close first cousins in Middletown. Our Mothers Sadie Rosenthal Albert and Ida Rosenthal Leipziger were sisters.
We spent lots of time at family gatherings. The memories are plentiful and full of happy thoughts .
Harvey had a great sense of humor, as did his Mom. There was lots of laughter.
We kept in touch as adults, talking or texting frequently. He would send me very silly GIFS, especially about animals. We never missed a birthday without calling each other or texting .
I will miss my "Brother from another Mother ". I feel blessed to have shared our family connection. RI P, Harvey
