Helen Goncher Obituary

Helen R. Goncher, 99, of Suffield, beloved wife of the late Edwin Goncher, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025 at the Suffield House. Born July 31, 1926 in West Suffield, daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Mulak) Rydzy she lived in Suffield all her life. Before retiring she was employed by Lego Corporation. During her retirement, Helen enjoyed traveling with her friends to different destinations around the world. She also was a fan of UConn women's basketball and Boston Red Sox baseball. Helen is survived by her daughter, Linda Mustis and her husband, Peter of Eastford; two grandchildren, Laura Mustis-Parent and her husband, Adam of Ashland, MA, Jonathan Mustis of Pomfret Center. She was predeceased by a sister, Wanda Rydzy. Her family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 from 10:30-11:30 am at Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home, 443 East St. N. (Rt. 159), Suffield followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 pm at Sacred Heart Church, Suffield. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Suffield.
