James C. Boehnert

James C. Boehnert, 70, of Newington, beloved husband of Rosanne (Noury) Boehnert, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2026, at The Hospital of Central Connecticut. Born in New Britain, James was a graduate of Pulaski High School, Class of 1974, He proudly served in the United States Navy before beginning his career. James had been a longtime Newington resident. He was employed as a plumber at The Stanley Works in New Britain for many years. James was a member of the former St. Jean Baptist Society Club in New Britain, the New Britain Quartette Club, and the 8th Ward in New Britain.

Besides his wife, Rosanne, he leaves two sons, James Martin and his wife Megan and Sam Martin and his wife Jennifer from Newington; a brother, Gary Boehnert and his wife Bonnie of New Britain; and his grandchildren Logan, Margaret, John, Liam, and Cameron. He also leaves his stepsons, Tommy Ward, Lawrence Beaulieu, and Christopher Beaulieu and his wife Vianne, daughter in law Madelaine Cubias along with step-grandchildren Vanessa, Christopher, Jayden, and Gianna.

He was predeceased by his parents, Ewald and Regina Boehnert. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss him dearly.

A celebration of James's life will be announced and held at a later date. Carlson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
