Jeanne Teraila Obituary

Jeanne K. Teraila, 74, of Coventry, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, October 5, 2025. Jeanne received her RN from New England Deaconess Hospital, School of Nursing, and her BA from Goddard College. Her professional focus was on high risk, labor and delivery nursing. Jeanne enjoyed photography, knitting, spinning wool, and painting. She looked forward to her yearly trips to Maine, with her sister Marianne, to walk the Marginal Way in Ogunquit or visit the Nubble Lighthouse in York. She was predeceased by her parents, Bernard and Lois Teraila of Rockville. She is survived by her two children, Lucas J. Gallant and James J. Gallant, and her daughter-in-law Katie A. Gallant, along with her grandson Derek J. Gallant. She also leaves her sister, Marianne Vinci, and brother-in-law Donald Vinci, of Cromwell. A memorial service on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, from 4pm-7pm, followed by a reception at The Lodge Community Chapel & Reception Hall, 130 Deerfield Rd, Windsor Ct. 06095. The burial service will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to Marginal Way Preservation Fund, PO Box 1455, Ogunquit, ME 03907 or Art Center East, 709 Hartford Turnpike, Vernon, 06066.
