Keith Henchey Obituary

Keith J. Henchey, age 37, passed away unexpectedly at home on September 14, 2025. He was born in Springfield, MA on February 3, 1988. Keith loved working on cars or basically anything with a motor. If he wasn't getting his hands dirty working on a vehicle you would catch him getting his hands dirty fishing. He was always a daredevil and up for anything especially if it included four wheels or even two. His love for BMX never faded growing up into the man he was. Keith was predeceased by his mom Sheri Henchey, and his four grandparents Joan Bassette, Robert Greenia, Judith & John Henchey. Keith leaves behind his son Derek Henchey of Westfield, his dad John Henchey and his wife Diana of Awagam, his sister Megan Henchey of Westfield, his brother Nick Henchey and his wife Taylor of West Springfield and four nephews Cameron, Matthew, Maverick and Grayson. Along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Calling hours will be Wednesday September 24th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the O'Brien Family Funeral Home, 33 Lamb St., South Hadley. May you now rest with eternal peace and be with mom. I thank God for your sister because he blessed me with another sister and two brothers in my life. I’ll always remember the great time. To the whole family I’m so sorry for your loss. May God be with you always through this ❤
