Lorraine A. Grasso

Lorraine A. Malboeuf Grasso, 98, of New Haven, passed away on Wednesday, October 1st, 2025, at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank J. "Harp" Grasso Sr. Lorraine was born in New Haven on February 23, 1927, and was the daughter of the late Roland and Katherine Fitzsimmons Malboeuf. She worked at Edward Malley Company for 25 years and later as a manager at the Goodwill Store in New Haven for 8 years. Lorraine was an avid fan of the New York Giants and New York Yankees. She enjoyed listening to music, reading, barbeques and cookouts in the yard surrounded by friends and family whom she loved unconditionally. Mother of Frank Grasso Jr. and his wife Victoria and David Grasso and his wife Melissa. Also survived by her sister Jean Busch, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Lorraine is predeceased by two grandsons, David M. Grasso, Jr. and John L. Arminio III, her siblings Roland Malboeuf, Jr., Charles Malboeuf, John Malboeuf, Dorothy Downing, Winfred Drews and Katherine Kras. The visiting hours will be on Saturday, October 4th from 10 to 11:30 AM at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A parlor service will be conducted in the funeral home at 11:30. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
