Maria Da Costa Obituary

In Loving Memory of Maria Da Costa It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Maria Da Costa, a cherished mother, grandmother, beloved friend, and guiding light to all who knew her. Born in Portugal on October 22, 1942 born to Joaquim and Zulmira Parente, Maria carried the warmth and resilience of her homeland throughout her life, touching the hearts of everyone she met. She was a devoted mother, survived by her loving sons and daughters, Maria Ceu Adams, Silvia Isabel Coito, Maria Manuela Coelho, Serafim Da Costa and Antonio Da Costa and their spouses. Survived by her sister Dina and Natalia and also 5 grandchildren who will forever hold her wisdom, kindness, and unwavering love close to their hearts. Her legacy is one of strength, compassion, and an unbreakable bond with family a testament to a life well-lived. Some of her favorite joy was raising her grandchildren cooking and getting together with family. Though she has left this world, Maria's spirit will live on in the memories and lives she shaped with her grace and generosity. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May she rest in peace. Family and friends are invited to the Giuliano-Sagarino Funeral Home at BROOKLAWN, 511 Brook St. Rocky Hill, on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 from 10-12p.m. Interment will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield.
