Maria Ojeda Obituary

Maria Dina Ortiz Ojeda, 68, of Manchester, passed away at Hartford Hospital after a long illness. Born June 24, 1957, in Brooklyn, New York; she was a daughter of Maria M. Ojeda and the late Emilio Ortiz. She is survived by her mother Maria, siblings John Ortiz and Migdalia Colón. Maria loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed making candles and gifting them to family and friends. She loved listening to music, always dancing while she did so no matter where she was. She liked watching Korean-based films and shows. She also loved making people laugh, sending funny video clips from Instagram and Facebook. She often shopped on Amazon and Temu. She had a warehouse of items in her room. Packages would arrive for her almost daily, so much so that her family jokingly called her La Paquetera! Maria had a wonderful sense of humor and her laughter and smile lit up a room. She will be missed tremendously by all her family and friends. A memorial service is planned for Friday, August 29th between the hours of 5p-7p at Manchester Funeral Home
