Marie Theresa Theresa Nadeau

Marie Theresa Nadeau, 97, of Southington, CT, entered into eternal rest surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, July 26, 2025. Daughter of the late Josephel and Mary Jane (Rossignol) Theriault, Theresa was born on April 15, 1928, in New Canada, Maine. Theresa met and married her late husband, Wilfrid Nadeau, and together they moved to Connecticut. They had 5 children, Dorothy, Patrick, Linda, and Wayne all of Southington and Lisa of Manchester. Theresa was employed with General Electric in Connecticut for most of her adult life. In her retirement she went on to work at Sears, Fashion Bug, and Walmart. In her free time, she enjoyed making ceramics, crochet, cooking, working outside in her flower garden, and spending time with her family. Theresa is survived by her children, Patrick Nadeau and his wife Anne Marie, Linda Jackson, and Lisa Mazzetta and her husband Antonio; her grandchildren, Jonathan, Patrick, Justin, Alicia, Rebecca, Tyler, Desiree, James, Marissa, Lacey and Dominic; her great-grandchildren, Connor, Logan, Hayden, Andie, Ella, Becky, Noah, Avery and Xavier; her brother, Roger Theriault; and many loved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Besides her parents, Theresa was predeceased by her two children, Dorothy Smart and Wayne Nadeau; her siblings, Priscilla, Jeanette, Cecilia, Carlene, Gilmay, Rena, Elmer and Don. John F. Tierney Funeral Home has care of the arrangements. Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
