Mark Nowakowski Obituary

Mark Conrad Nowakowski, age 43, beloved husband of Jennifer Trantum Nowakowski of Hamden, died suddenly on August 12, 2024 at Yale New Haven Hospital. Born in Bulington, VT on March 29, 1981, he was the son of Mark Nowakowski of VT and Veronica Cowin Jacobs and her husband, Jay of West Haven. Mr. Nowakowski worked in the automotive industry as a master mechanic and was a meticulous truck detailer. A talented artist in many mediums, he was most recognized for his colored pencil illustrations. A man of great faith and conviction, Mark was a member of Reclaim Christian Church of Ansonia and will be long remembered as a loving son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his devoted children, Isannah Hensz and her fiancé, William Hendley- Dignardi of NY and Devon Nowakowski of NC; brothers, Conrad Nowakowski of NY and Terry Golden of Bristol; cherished grandchildren, Anastasia Hensz-Hendley-Dignardi and Pierce Hensz-Hendley-Dignardi of NY; as well as several cousins and many friends. A Memorial Service in Celebration of Mark's Life will take place at Reclaim Christian Church, 11 High Acres Road, Ansonia, on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 1:00 PM. Interment will be private. The Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia is in care of arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.wakeleememorial.com.
