Max Bailey Obituary

Max Bailey, 88, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 17th,2025, at the Connecticut Hospice, Branford with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Annette Pallato Bailey. Max was born in Oak Grove, Louisiana on February 26th, 1937, and was the son of the late Rose Mae Daniels Bailey. A 1955 graduate of Oak Grove, Louisiana High School, Max later served his country faithfully in the US Navy. He was the owner/operator of Protectron, Aura Manufacturing and later was the choir director and organist at St. Barnabas Church, North Haven until his retirement. Max was a member of the North Haven Photo Club and Branford Yacht Club. He enjoyed sailing and music (having played in a Dixieland Band in high school). Father of Daniel (Theresa Randell) Bailey, Carol (Laurie) Bailey and Marianne Bailey. The visiting hours will be Friday, August 22nd from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Catholic Parlor Service will be conducted in the funeral home on Saturday morning, August 23rd at 10:00. Interment with full military honors will follow in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the CT Hospice, Inc. at cthospice.org or to a catholic charity of one's choice.
