Michael Criscuolo, NHPD, retired, of New Haven died peacefully on April 8, 2025, in Connecticut Hospice with his loving family by his side. He was the husband of Victoria "Vicki" Santora Criscuolo. He was born in New Haven on June 20, 1947, to the late Carmine and Ann Sciaretto Criscuolo. Mike was an officer on the NHPD for 30 years prior to retiring and was a member of Union Local 530 Retirees Union. He also worked in the Security Dept. at the APT Foundation for many years. Mike was a devoted New York Yankees fan, and he loved watching the UCONN girls' basketball team. The love Mike had for his family was insurmountable. He adored his wife Vicki and their daughters Marcella Goodwin (Raul) and Tarra Demetriades (Nicholas). He loved his grandchildren Michael Louis, Alex Jaden and Payton Rose. He never missed a sporting event or dance recital. He is also survived by his sisters Pasqualina (Patty) Ferraro, (late Blaise) and Annemarie Lorenti. Mike indeed lived a charmed life! Visiting hours will be Friday Morning from 9:00 – 10:30am in the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc. 11 Wooster Place, New Haven. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am in St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at St. Bernadette Church, 385 Townsend Ave. New Haven, CT. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. A Good man. Sounds simple, but there are no shortcuts. He kept things balanced, but each part of his life was involved in helping others. Sounds simple, but there were no shortcuts. That was Mike. Condolences to his Wife, children, family, close friends. RIP Mike.
