Con profunda tristeza anunciamos el fallecimiento de Pedro Mercado Jr. a la edad de 51 años. Pedrito era un devoto hijo, hermano, padre y abuelo, y apreciaba pasar tiempo con su familia. Falleció rodeado de sus seres queridos el 10 de Julio, 2025. Será recordado por su gran corazón, su gran sonrisa y el amor que sentía por su familia. A Pedro Mercado Jr. le sobreviven sus padres, Pedro y María Mercado; sus siete hermanos: Margarita, David, Joel, Daniel, Elizabeth, Deborah y Jessica; su única hija, Yaritza; sus dos nietos, Nathaniel y Nicolias; y decenas de sobrinos y sobrinas; así como sus cuñados, cuñadas, tías, tíos y primos. Aunque su vida fue breve, su amor vivirá en los corazones de quienes lo amaron. El velatorio se llevará a cabo el viernes 18 de Julio de 4:00 pm hasta la hora del servicio a las 6:30 pm, en la funeraria Clancy-Palumbo, ubicada en Kirkham Ave. 43, East Haven, CT. El servicio fúnebre se realizará el sábado 19 de Julio a las 10:00 am en el cementerio Evergreen, ubicado en 769 Ella T. Pedrito was a devoted son, brother, father, and grandfather and cherished spending time with his family. He passed away surrounded by his loved ones on July 10th, 2025. He will be remembered for his great heart, big smile and the love he had for his family. Pedro Mercado Jr is survived by his parents, Pedro & Maria Mercado, his 7 siblings, Margarita, David, Joel, Daniel, Elizabeth, Deborah, and Jessica. His only daughter Yaritza, his 2 grandchildren Nathaniel and Nicolias and dozens of nieces and nephews. As well as brothers in law, sisters in law, aunts, uncles and cousins. Though his time was cut short, his love will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. Wake will be held on Friday July 18th from 4 pm until the time of service at 6:30 PM in the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven CT 06512.
