Rosanne LaBlanc Obituary

Rosanne LaBlanc peacefully passed away on September 24, 2025, at her apartment in Simsbury, Connecticut. She was born in Irvington, New York, and later attended Fox Lane High School and Siena College. Rosanne was known for her diligence and dedication, working as an Executive Assistant for approximately twenty-five years. She valued health and wellness, even spending a period of her life working as a personal trainer. Rosanne was an avid music lover, who found joy in supporting her husband's band and handling his bookings. Rosanne was a devoted mother, sister, wife, and friend. Her strength, beauty, and resilience were beyond words. She loved and cared for others selflessly, always placing their needs before her own. Rosanne is survived by her daughter, Sophia; her mother, Rosaria D'Agostino; and her siblings, Kristine Maffucci Williams and Derek Maffucci. She will be reunited with her late husband, Brian LaBlanc, to whom she was married for thirty-two years, as well as her beloved grandparents, Anna and Benedetto D'Agostino. Rosanne was a special and beautiful woman whose legacy will live on forever. The B.C. Bailey Funeral Home of Wallingford has been entrusted with Rosanne's final arrangements. My heart is broken hearing of Rosanne´s passing. Rest easy my friend

Rosanne was my Executive Assistant for three years at Swiss Re, but she was my friend for much longer than that. When I would visit the Armonk office, we always found an evening to get together for dinner (she with pinot grigio, I with sauvignon blanc) and I delighted in watching her grill the waiter about her extremely healthy order - always off the menu, usually a lean protein with "broccoli - steamed, no butter". And she would double check when the food arrived to make sure her order was correct.

What I will never forget about Rosanne was her fierce love for her daughter, Sophia, whom I´ve never had the pleasure to meet - but Sophia was Rosanne´s proudest accomplishment and she spoke of her so lovingly & with such joy. I will also never forget how - regardless of who reported to whom - she was really my boss/coach. I trusted her judgment, I trusted her instincts, and I knew that she had the courage to do and say what needed to be done and said. I learned so much from her-our entire team did.

Rosanne was a beautiful, kind, funny, smart, sassy, loving, talented, one-of-a-kind person who I loved and will never forget. I´ll miss you, Rosanne - the world won´t be the same without you.

I had the pleasure of working with Rosanne for many years at Swiss Re. She was such a sweet soul, always smiling and bringing warmth to those around her. We often shared stories about our children and how quickly they were growing up. She will be deeply missed-gone far too soon.

Rosanne was my neighbor at Highcroft! She was a very special lady and I will miss her! She fought a tough battle with cancer very bravely. She is now in heaven with
her loving husband. God bless you
Sophia and your family. You are all

I only knew Rosanne for a short time here at Highcroft but felt I knew her much longer. She was a wonderful soul. With a great smile. Having cancer myself I tried to help her cope with all that comes with this terrible disease. She was so very strong and her family should be so proud. She will be missed. My heart goes out to you.
