Szymon "Simon" "Simon" Stopka

Szymon "Simon" Stopka, 29 of Middletown, beloved husband of Natalia (Majewska) Stopka, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025. Born in Elblag, Poland, son of Dariusz and Beata (Bogacka) Stopka, he married love of his life, Natalia in 2018 in Poland. Szymon was known for his infectious happiness and sense of humor. He was a one call away from everyone who needed help. He was a devoted husband to Natalia and a loving father to his little girls, Lea and Jolie. He was a very generous, well liked and smart man, supporting to his wife and family. Szymon was an owner of Vicking Tree Service and was a dedicated employee at Pratt & Whitney. He was a hard-working man, mechanically talented; he could fix anything. Simon found joy in life's simplest pleasures, especially working on cars, a hobby he pursued with passion. A loving husband, father, son, uncle, cousin and friend, he is survived by his wife Natalia; his two daughters: Lea and Jolie; his parents: Dariusz and Beata Stopka; his brother, Dawid Stopka and his wife Aneta and their two children; his grandmothers: Janina Bogacka and Gertruda Stopka; his best friends: Piotr Noga and his wife Natalia, Pawel Suchocki and his wife Klaudia (sister-in-law) and their son, Mateusz Baczyk and his wife Aldona and family members and friends who reside in the US and Poland. He was predeceased by his grandfathers, Jan Bogacki and Stanislaw Stopka. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be loved and missed by many. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, July 28, 2025 at 9:30 am at Sacred Heart Church, 158 Broad St., New Britain. Family is asking that public meet direct at the Sacred Heart Church on Monday. He will be laid in rest in Calvary Cemetery, 307 Bow Ln, Middletown, CT.
