He was predeceased by the love of his life, his wife of 58 years, Dina, who he loved and missed every day, and his brother, William Kane. He is survived by ( by age, not importance, because as anyone who knew him knows, his favorite child, daughter in law or grandchild was whichever one he was talking to at that time…) his son Thomas B. Kane and his wife Wendy of Colchester, Connecticut and their daughters, Hailynn and Gracyn Kane; his son Jeremy S. Kane and his wife Christine of Monroe, Connecticut and their sons Tyler and Owen Kane and his brother Donald Kane, of West Hartford, Connecticut. He is also survived by Dina's cat, Ali, who disliked everyone but her, but who grew to tolerate some other people, Thomas included.
