Walter Bukowski Obituary

Walter P. Bukowski, 90, of Terryville, husband of the recently departed Karin (Loesser) Bukowski, passed away Friday, March 28, 2025, at Bristol Hospital. He was born September 11, 1934, in Bristol, son of the late Frank Sr. and Rose (Dzialak) Bukowski. Walter proudly served 2 tours with the US Army. Prior to his retirement, he was employed with GM at New Departure in Bristol. He was a Terryville High School graduate. Walter was a former member of the Pequabuck Golf Club, the St. Casimir Society and the Terryville Political Club. In high school he was a 2-sport athlete, playing both Baseball and Basketball. Walter loved the Boston Red Sox. He and Karen loved to travel and go out to eat. Walter is survived by several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and extended family and friends. Besides his parents and his wife, Walter was predeceased by his brothers, Frank Jr., Chester, William, Edward, and Henry Bukowski, and his sister Helen Barchikowski. Services will be private for Walter. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Terryville. Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St, Terryville, is assisting with the arrangements.
