William Mulvey Obituary

William "Bill" Mulvey, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2025, at Regency House Health and Rehabilitation, Wallingford. His wife Carolyn Nourse Mulvey predeceased him. Born on December 22, 1938, in New Haven, Bill was a son of the late William and Alice Coffey Mulvey. In addition to his wife and parents, Bill is predeceased by his brother Michael Mulvey. Prior to his residence at Regency House, Bill lived in Madison for many years. For four years, Bill proudly served in the Army Reserves. He graduated from Providence College, where he obtained a degree in business administration. Bill retired from William V. Mulvey as its' owner and as an independent insurance investigator and appraiser. He enjoyed fly fishing and was an avid golfer, activities he pursued in his free time. Bill is survived by his brother-in-law David Nourse and sisters-in-law Karen Nourse, Sheila Mulvey, and Janice O'Brien; nephews David Nourse (Rachel) and Edward William Mulvey, nieces Helen Nourse (Ricky), Carolyn Sevillano (Enrique), Connie Clark (Cooper)and Tara Frommelt (Allen), a great-niece, Iola Nourse; and great-nephews, Quint Nourse and Luke Frommelt. Bill was very generous to his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all. A graveside service will take place on Saturday morning May 31 at 10 o'clock in Kings Highway Cemetery, 271 Cherry Street, Milford. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of William V.
