Tommy was a man of great character and work ethic, having dedicated 45 years of his life as an employee to Central Stone Company Rock Quarry in Huntington, Missouri.
A true Civil War and WWII history buff, Tommy knew anything you wanted to know of the eras. He could often be found with his nose in a book, especially those by his favorite author, Louis L'Amour.
An avid gun collector, Tommy's eyes would light up at the mention of Winchesters. He was always on the hunt for the next addition to his collection, a pursuit that brought him great joy and satisfaction. This same enthusiasm carried over to his love of deer hunting, a pastime that allowed him to enjoy the great outdoors and the camaraderie of fellow hunters.
Tommy's sweet tooth was legendary, and he never turned down chocolate or a chance to share a cup of coffee. He cherished these simple pleasures, often indulging in them while engaging in one of his favorite activities, visiting with people. Whether it was friends, family, or the waitresses at his favorite diner, Tommy made time for everyone, listening and sharing stories with a genuine interest in their lives.
A Jack of all trades, Tommy loved to work with his hands, whether it was crafting something in his workshop or working out in the yard. His cowboy boots were a testament to his love for the country lifestyle, and his taste in music reflected this as well. The tunes of Dolly Parton and Conway Twitty were the soundtrack to many of his days.
His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to inspire those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Pallbearer will be Michael Warden.
Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Neff, Ryan Lair, Dick Newlin and Frank Jeffries.
