Tyson S. Mount

Tyson S. Mount, 49, of Hannibal, MO, passed away at 4:20 PM, Monday, July 28, 2025, at his home. Per Tyson's wishes there will be no services. Arrangements for cremation are under the direction of the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal, MO. Tyson was born September 20, 1975, in Hannibal, MO to Robert W. Mount Sr. and Anna "Ann" L. Wagner. Survivors include his sister, Kimberly Lewellen of Hannibal, MO; two brothers, Robert W. Mount Jr. (Susan) of Troy, MO, and Mike Mount (Patricia) of Bowling Green, MO; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by close friends, Shannon Straube and Mitchell Zahn. Tyson was preceded in death by his parents. Tyson ran and operated the family business, Master Air, with his father, Robert Mount for many years. He later became a caretaker for others. Tyson moved to the Grand Caymans for one year and that is what started his love for the beach. Tyson loved the Caribbean lifestyle, food, and music. While Tyson lived in the Grand Caymans he was evacuated by the US Marshalls when Hurricane Ivan went through. Tyson loved to travel and later lived all over the United States in Las Vegas, NV, Florida, Memphis, TN, and South Carolina but his heart was always in the Grand Caymans. Tyson later came back to the Midwest to care for his parents and their beloved cat "Toby" and dog "Buffy". Always a music lover, one of his favorite songs was "In Your Eyes" by Peter Gabriel. Tyson loved his family and missed his parents deeply. Tyson will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Tyson was Methodist by faith and was a member of Hydesburg United Methodist Church in Hannibal, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to Cuddle Cat Rescue or Hydesburg United Methodist Church.
