Ann Casey Obituary

NORTH ANDOVER – Ann Catherine (Tanski) Casey, 85, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill. Ann was born in Newark, NJ on December 13, 1939 to Anthony B. and Sophie W. (Kozdras) Tanski. She attended North Andover High School and then went on to be a dedicated homemaker. In addition to raising her children, she waitressed at various local restaurants throughout the Merrimack Valley and was also an amazing private housekeeper for many relatives and friends. Ann enjoyed traveling, especially to California and Florida to visit family. She had an independent, fierce, but kind spirit. Ann was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt. She is survived by her sons John E. Torla of North Andover and Michael A. Casey of North Andover, and her daughter Cindy L. (Torla) Murphy of Danville, NH. She also leaves behind her sister Joan Robichaud and her children Sharon and Sam of California, and her newly found half-sisters Salina Keller and Dana McLaughlin; as well as grandchildren Amy Coletti and her husband Glen Coletti, Brian Murphy, Paul Torla and his wife Nicole, William Casey IV, and Erin Murphy and her fiance Kyle McBride; and great grandchildren Avery Couture, Kennedy McBride, Reagan McBride and Taylor McBride. Ann was predeceased by her children; Linda Torla, Paul S. Torla and William J. Casey III. At Ann's request there will be no public calling hours or services.
