Gene was a true leader in our profession of Resource Management, he led the APICS organization and helped pioneer the foundational systems and ideas that run Supply Chains around the world. Thank you Gene, you will be missed, but your legacy is here to stay.

A Dear Colleague, friend, and professional of APICS, ASCM. May Gene's memory be eternal, he is a good man who practiced what he preached. Being in Connecticut, he and I had a great deal of correspondences and meetings, as he attended most of Central Connecticut's and New Haven's monthly meetings. The best memory I have of Gene goes back to 1995 on a flight of U S Airways. He was seated in first class while I was in 14 C. Midway through the flight he walked back carrying his dinner and handed it to me. He said: "You are the president, you should eat better than coach". This was Gene, a very unselfish Good man. He will be missed.
