Lawrence "Larry" Penn

Lawrence "Larry" Penn, 58, of Haverhill, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at Brigham and Woman's Hospital, Boston, surrounded by his family and friends. He was born in New York, NY, on October 5, 1965, son of Laurice Walcott. Predeceased by his mother, Laurice while he was still very young, Larry was mostly raised by his older sister Kathleen. Larry was a high school graduate. He served his country in the National Guard. He was a very hardworking man who worked for the MBTA driving the green line for many years and at the Lindt Chocolate Factory. He loved traveling and spending time with his family. He was a very kind and gentle man and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Larry is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Sandy L. Penn (Cedar), his children; Chanelle Robinson of Framingham, MA, Ashley Robinson of Revere, MA, Natasha Cedar-Penn, Larry Cedar-Penn both of Haverhill, MA, step-children (that he treated like his own); Jasmine Cedar-Fultz and Spencer Cedar-Fultz both of Haverhill, MA, grandchildren; Ahlani, Xavier, Amyrha and Xayden, siblings; Elynor L. Walcott, Kathleen Penn, Sharon Medley, Doreen Penn, Michael G. Penn, sister-in-law; Dawn Canfield and her husband Jeffrey of Methuen, MA, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his siblings, Darrell Penn and Sandra Wilson. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Sunday, July 28th from 12-2 PM at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 South Main St. Bradford, MA. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
