Nancy Drapeau Obituary

Nancy J. Drapeau, 78, a resident of Haverhill, MA died on Monday, March 3, 2025 at the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen. She was the beloved wife of William Drapeau. She was born in Haverhill on May 10, 1946 and was the daughter of the late Henry and Katheryn (Roth) Sherburn. Nancy was raised and educated in Haverhill and was a graduate of St. James High School, Class of 1964. She was employed as a government inspector at Eastern Canvas in Haverhill for many years. Nancy later took a position as an assembler at Frequency Devices in Haverhill until her retirement. She loved the outdoors. Nancy enjoyed fishing, camping, and boating. She cherished the time spent with her grandnieces. Besides her husband William, she is survived by her son William Drapeau Jr. of Haverhill, MA, her sister Judy Delap of Georgetown, MA, her nephews James Delap and Douglas Delap, her grand nieces Katelyn, Sydney, and Emily. She also leaves behind her best friend of 66 years Linda Braley. Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, March 10, 2025 from 5pm – 7pm at the Berube-Comeau Funeral Home 47 Broadway, Haverhill, MA. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 11am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Bradford, MA.
