Byran Eads Obituary

FOWLER, Ill. -- Bryan J. Eads, 61, of 1708 E. 1332nd Street, Fowler, died at 4:40 a.m. Monday (April 16, 2012) in his home.

Bryan was born May 8, 1950, in Peoria, a son of S. John and Frances J. Bloom Eads. He married Teresa L. Watkins on Sept. 2, 1977, in Palmyra, Mo. She survives.

He was a 1968 Quincy High School graduate and a graduate of Quincy College. Bryan was a licensing representative for day care through the Department of Children and Family Services, located in Beardstown.

Bryan and his son enjoyed bass fishing and drag racing their Chevy S10 pickup truck.

Survivors also include a son, Michael J. Eads and his girlfriend, Andrea Lewis, and her daughter, Ellie, of Quincy; a daughter, Staci L. Hamilton and her boyfriend, Matthew Sellers, of Marcelline; two grandchildren, Bryant and Kolbee Beeler of Marcelline; a sister, Lohretta Eads of Quincy; an aunt, Jackie Dinon of Pulaski, Tenn., and a cousin, Andrette Dinon of Pulaski.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

SERVICES: 1 p.m. Thursday in the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home in Quincy, with the Rev. Jack Perdue officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Horeb Cemetery near Golden.

VISITATION: 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home, Quincy.

I was very shocked and saddened to hear of Bryans passing. He was my licensing rep for daycare for years and also my moms until she retired. He was a very kind man, he always had a smile when he visited. I am sorry for your loss and know he will be greatly missed.
