Danny McClain Obituary

LORAINE, Ill. -- Danny R. McClain, 67, of Loraine, died Thursday (Feb. 23, 2012) in Blessing Hospital, Quincy.

Danny was born Feb. 6, 1945, in Quincy to the late Otis Ray and Beulah (Crabtree) McClain. He married Shirley Meinhardt on Aug. 7, 1971, in Donnelson, Iowa. Shirley survives of Loraine.

He was a member of the Rifleman's Association, donated to the Salvation Army, and in his younger years was a member of the Boy Scouts. He enjoyed woodworking, working on cars, and was good with his hands and able to fix anything.

In addition to his wife, Danny is survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

SERVICES: Private family services will be held at a later date.

MEMORIALS: American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association or the Salvation Army.
