James R. Mihal Jr.

1967 - 2018

James R. "Jay" or "Jimmy" Mihal Jr., 50, of Ewing, Mo., died Thursday, May 24, 2018, at his home in Ewing.

A son of James R. Mihal Sr. and Noel (Weymouth) Beaudry, he was born Sept. 17, 1967, in Wichita, Kan.

Jay grew up in Londonderry and Manchester, N.H. He was united in marriage to Dana Whitaker.

Jay was an avid outdoorsman who liked to hunt and fish. He was also a longtime employee of Sears in many locations and positions.

He is survived by his wife, Dana Mihal of Ewing, Mo.; a daughter, Grace Mihal of Ewing, Mo.; his father and stepmother, James and Judy Mihal Sr. of Florida; a sister, Nicole (Peter) Gardner of Florida; two brothers, Scott Mihal of Bedford, N.H., and Benjamin (Katie) Beaudry of New Hampshire; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Noel Beaudry, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

SERVICES: 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at the Ewing Memorial Cemetery in Ewing, Mo., with Pastor Lance Bonnell officiating. Inurnment will follow. There also will be a memorial service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 2, at the Puritan Back Room in Manchester, N.H.

MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Grace's college educational fund.
