James "Jim" Philp, 65, of Keokuk, died August 24, 2021 at his home. Graveside service will be 11 a.m., Aug. 30, in Sandusky Cemetery in Sandusky, Iowa. Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m., Aug. 30, at Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk.

We were saddened to hear of Jims death. We were neighbors, for several years, and kindness and assistance were his daily activities. While I hadn´t seen him in several years, he was still considered a good friend. RIP. Our sympathies are with you Mary Joy.

Please accept our condolence of Jim's passing. We can't believe he is gone. He had a very sharp whit, great sense of humor and a distinct laugh. We always enjoyed going to his house in Sandusky. Riding motorcycles out around the back roads of Sandusky area, GOOD MEMORIES! He will be missed. A great all around friend.
