Thomas V. "Tom" Klauser

1953 - 2018

TAYLOR, Mo. -- Thomas V. "Tom" Klauser, 65, of Taylor, Mo., died at 2:41 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17, 2018, at Blessing Hospital.

Tom was born Nov. 21, 1953, in Quincy, a son of Leonard and Loretta Maas Klauser.

Tom was devoted to his family and loved spending time with them, especially his grandchildren.

Tom worked in the car sales and service business for 46 years. For the past 10 years, he owned and operated Tommy's Auto Sales and Quality Car Care in West Quincy, Mo.

Survivors include five children, Angela Klauser of Quincy, SSG Jason Klauser (Kami Jo) of Grants Pass, Ore., Jayden Klauser and Jordan Klauser, both of Palmyra, Mo., and Joshua Klauser of Foristell, Mo.; four grandchildren, Coby Klauser, Zoey Klauser, Kainalu Klauser and Kylie Jo Klauser; six brothers, Kenneth Klauser (Tunie), Leroy Kauser (Jackie), John Klauser (Barb), David Klauser (Patti) and Dennis Klauser (Julie), all of Quincy, and Eugene Klauser (Lorrie) of Liberty; four sisters, Kathleen Postle, Diane Dyel (Mitch), Bonnie Eichhorn (Kevin) and Sherrie Weerts (Jim), all of Quincy; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Mr. Klauser was preceded in death by his parents.

SERVICES: 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, at Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home, with burial in Calvary Cemetery.

VISITATION: 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
