In loving memory, we celebrate the life of Bradley Shayne Melton, a cherished son, husband, father, brother and friend. Born on Feb. 24, 1989, in Jacksonville, Ark., Bradley departed this world on Feb. 22, 2026, after a valiant and courageous battle with cancer – a testament to his enduring strength and spirit.
Bradley was the beloved son of Gary Melton and Sherry Jolly, who instilled in him the values of resilience and kindness. A 2007 graduate of Bald Knob High School in Bald Knob, Ark. Bradley's journey was marked by dedication and service, including two proud years with the Arkansas National Guard. His life was a tapestry woven with vibrant threads of adventurous passions and deep connections.
Bradley had an infectious zest for life that was evident in all he did. In 2008, he took second place in state at motocross while being sponsored by Monster Energy. In his young adult years, he was often found playing video games and paintballing with friends, a pastime that showcased his playful spirit and competitive edge. Known to many as a bit of a "goofball," Bradley had an uncanny ability to bring joy and laughter to those around him, like with adding a splash of "Goofy" cartoon voices into conversations. His humor was a light that brightened the darkest of days, and his protective nature ensured that his friends and family always felt safe and loved.
Bradley shared 10 beautiful years of marriage with his devoted wife, Natasha Melton, who stood by his side through life's many ups and downs. Together, they built a loving home filled with laughter and warmth. Bradley was a proud father to his children, Jayden and Avalon Melton, whom he adored beyond measure. His role as a father was one he cherished deeply, and his love will forever be a part of their lives. Bradley is also survived by his siblings, Rebecca Spencer (Steven Spencer), Rachel Melton, Jeremy Melton and Courtney Nance (Timothy Nance), along with his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, each of whom held a special place in his heart.
A service to honor Bradley's life will be conducted on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026, at 1 p.m. with visitation prior to services beginning at 12 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home in Bald Knob, Ark. Interment will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Bald Knob, Ark.
Arrangements are entrusted to Powell Funeral Home Bald Knob-Judsonia.
As we gather to remember and celebrate his life, let us reflect on the joyous moments and the laughter he gifted us. Though our hearts ache with his absence, we find comfort in knowing that Bradley's spirit lives on in the memories we cherish and the love we hold dear.
