Robert Jones Obituary

Robert Jones, 83

Robert "Bob" Jones passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on September 16, 2024 at the hospital near their Montana home.

He was born in Chicago, attended DePaul University, Loyola and Northwestern. He started his career in accounting at one of the "Big 8" accounting firms. Bob was a tenacious determined man who, by the time he was 30, opened his own real estate company. The business is still run by his wife and daughter.

Bob is survived by his wife of 30 years, Susan, and his three daughters, Melissa, Mary "Katie" Kathleen (Javan), Monika (Tyler), two grandsons, Stephen (Angelica), Mitchell (Moriah) and a granddaughter, Elsa.

Bob was known for his quick with and dry sense of humor. Bob and Susan were partners in love and business and shared many adventures. He was a life master bridge player, a boat captain and an expert skier. Together they belong to The Port Royal Club and Royal Poinciana Golf & Country Club.

Bob always supported his wife's philanthropic endeavors, so in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Bob's name to: Friends of Big Cypress National Preserve, 3010 Tamiami Trail East, Ste. 106, Naples, FL. 34112.

We were blessed to have him in our lives.
