Ross Beagle Obituary
Ross Allen Beagle of Eureka, Montana was an outdoorsman from an early age, spending summers camping in the mountains near Whitefish, Montana where he grew up. His love of the outdoors, and especially the mountains, continued throughout his life. Although he spent several years living on the plains of Nebraska, he returned to the mountains and pursued his dream of renovating a cabin where he could appreciate the beauty of his favorite place. He resided there until his death on March 1, 2025.
Ross was born January 26, 1955, in Klamath Falls, Oregon, the youngest of five boys. He graduated from Whitefish High School in 1974 and went on to serve in the United States Air Force. He obtained a mechanics certificate, was skilled at plumbing, ran his own barber shop, and was foreman for Union Pacific Railroad until retirement. In his retirement, he continued working in a convenience store where he often recognized patrons by name.
He had many talents and pursued many hobbies, including hunting, fishing, outdoor photography, woodworking, drawing, and tying fishing flies. He enjoyed music, and his children learned the words to many oldies tunes thanks to his influence. He loved his pets, and taking his dog, Evuw, on outdoor adventures.
Ross was often quiet but took time to share his love of the outdoors with his family.
Ross is survived by his children, Brandy Hahn, Crystal (Jason) Ash, Libby (Jeremy) Elder, Lisa Trisler, Lyle (Lori) Trisler, and Lani (Lance) Cline; grandchildren, Jonathan, Skylar, Madison, Lilly, Ian, Owen, Hadley, Rex, Aria, Tyler, Katie, Amanda, Kara, Camdon, Grayson, and Kelsie; brothers, Sam (Sue) House and Dean House, and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel (Leslie) Childers, father William Beagle, step-father, Edward Childers, brothers Tommy House and Bruce Beagle, and granddaughter Emily Goodell.
A memorial service will take place August 2, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Whitefish, Montana VFW. Military rites will be held at Glacier Memorial Cemetery, Kalispell, Montana, at noon. Memorials to the family.
