A. Warner Obituary

WARNER-A. Fenwick Bryson Warner died Sunday, July 14 at his home in Glendora. He was one month shy of his 93rd birthday. Mr. Warner was born August 17, 1909 in Chicago, Ill., the son of Martha Binford Railsback Warner and Ja mes Edson Warner. Mr. Warner first moved to Glendora in 1935 and he was active in the Masonic Lodge, Grace Episcopal Church, and a founder of the Glendora Friends of the Library. Mr. Warner, who attended Montana State College in Bozeman, MT, was a retired realtor, farmer and librarian, and is survived by his second wife, Elizabeth Hoyle Pillsbury Warner of Glendora, and his five children, Fenwick B. Warner of Hamilton, Mt.; Michael K. B. Warner of Norfolk, VA.; Jonathan M.R. Warner of Long Beach; Elizabeth Gibney of Crooked River Ranch, Or.; and Jeremy W. Potash of Oakland, CA. Also surviving him are 12 grandchildren: Jeffrey Warner, La Verne; Danny Warner, Nipomo; Clinton Warner, MT; Jonathan A. Warner, VA; Tracy Warner, VA; Stephanie Wirwick, AZ; Christa Scronce, OR; William J. Fisher, OR; Joan Rogers, WA; Michael P. Fisher, OR; Heather Riley, OR; and Aaron W. Potash, Oakland; and 15 great grandchildren. Also surviving are his step sons, Russell Pillsbury, NY; Norman Pillsbury, San Luis Obispo; Doug Pillsb ury, San Luis Obispo; and John Pillsbury, NY. Preceding him in death were his wife, Joan Antony Blair Warner, and three grandchildren, Fenwick B. Warner, III; Angela Monique Warner and Robert V. Warner. A memorial service for Mr. Warner will take place at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 20 at the Grace Episcopal Church in Glendora. He will be interred in early August at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Woburn, Mass. The family asks that contributions be made in Mr. Warner's memory to the Joan Blair Warner Scholarship Fund at A zusa High School, 240 N. Cerritos Ave., Azusa CA 91702.
