Dear Miss Jean,
We are so sorry to hear of your mother's death. We know all too well that even when the loss follows a long illness one is never prepared. We never had the honor of meeting her but if her daughter Jean is any indication of how she lived her life she must have been quite the woman. Kate always spoke of her mom with such love, joy and admiration. I always wanted to meet her and especially try her great cooking first hand. It ws no mystery to me where Kate got her caring and compassionate nature. My condolesnces to all of her family.
