Jeanne M. O'Connor

Jeanne Marie (Gauthier) OConnor, 49 years of age passed away at her home Thursday, May 31, 2012 after a brief illness. She was born in Somerville and raised in Charlestown. She was a 1980 graduate of Charlestown High School. Jeanne had been employed as the Office Manager for Oak Tree Management Company of Dedham for the last 10 years. She was a member of the Teamsters Union #25, formerly working for Mass Port and UPS. She had been a Braintree resident for the past10 years and had lived in South Boston for eight years prior to moving to Braintree. She was the beloved wife of Thomas B. OConnor. She was the loving mother of Michael T. OConnor and Lilian B. OConnor. She was the cherished daughter of Leslie J. Gauthier Jr. and Winifred M. (Geysen) Gauthier of Woodstock, NH, formerly of Charlestown. She was the sister of Robert M. Gauthier of New Ipswich, NH, John T. Gauthier of Claremont, NH, Lesley A. Maher of South Boston, Frank J. Gauthier of Somersworth, NH and Nancy Oliver of Waco, Texas. She was also survived by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Visiting hours were held at the Mortimer N. Peck - Russell Peck Funeral Home, 516Washington St., Braintree, Tuesday, June 5, 2012 from 4-8 p.m. There was a gathering at the funeral home Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. to be followed by a funeral Mass at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 856 Washington St., Braintree at 10:30am. Burial will follow at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
